GENERAL QUESTIONS
Some P|M hat styles are not available to ship for a few weeks, but we are excited to provide an opportunity to pre-order one of these launch edition hats early. A pre-order can be placed if/when the item(s) shown are not immediately available for shipment.
Items offered for pre-order will be clearly marked as such, and will have an accompanying ‘estimated ship date’ listed. Please note: while we will endeavor to honor the estimated ship date listed, these dates are not guaranteed – the actual ship date may vary for any given pre-order item. If there is a change to the ship date, we will email you to update you with the revised shipping date.
When placing a pre-order, the item selected is reserved for you and it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. You will be charged for the total amount of the pre-order at the time that the order is placed.

Put simply: your hat size is determined by your head circumference.

Step 1:
Snag a sewing tape measure or a piece of string [you can get a Pyper Malone-branded tape measure sent to you for $3 by emailing us at hello@pypermalone.com]. If you make a hat purchase, we will refund the cost of the tape measure.
Step 2:
Stand in front of a mirror to ensure accuracy with your placement/measurement.
Step 3:
Wrap the measuring tape around your head, gently placing it where you'd like your hat to sit. Ensure the tape begins at the center of your forehead and meets back at the starting point.
Step 4:
Make note of your size and refer to our Size Chart to establish your hat size.
Important Sizing Tip: when situating your tape measure, be sure to place it gently around your head. Do not pull it too tightly as this may alter your size.

We exclusively use 100% virgin wool that is responsibly sourced and cruelty-free. Our ultra-premium-grade wool is sheared in Texas from a lamb’s first shearing – this ensures a wool that is soft and best-in-class.
We recommend storing your hat in the Pyper Malone duster bag [included with each hat] on a flat surface, crown-side down.
If you develop any spots or stains on your hat, you should be able to remove by lightly blotting with a (clean) slightly-damp cloth [for light wool colors: use a lightly-colored cloth; for dark-colored wool, use a dark-colored cloth]. For stains that persist on your wool hat, our recommendation is that you use a soft-bristled hat brush (Pyper Malone-branded one is coming soon). In the event that you develop an ill-shaped brim, we recommend using a steamer (a large pot of boiling water works, too) to gently reshape your wool brim using steam. Be mindful not to get the hat wet – just enough steam/heat to use your hands to gently revert it back to the original shape/form.

Each Pyper Malone hat is hand-crafted in the United States by talented milliners. We have multiple layers of quality control, and we make our hats to last for decades. We stand by our hats – if your hat arrives damaged or if there is a quality issue, please email us at hello@pypermalone.com within 30 days of delivery of your hat – we will be sure to make it right. Any issue not timely reported will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
SHIPPING
We utilize USPS and UPS. Shipping timeline will vary depending on destination address. We endeavor to get hats shipping within the contiguous United States to you within 2-5 days. International orders typically arrive in 4-14 days.
We ship all orders from our Tampa, Florida warehouse. Orders received Monday-Friday before 1pm EST will be shipped same-day (exception: orders placed on Federal US holidays will be shipped on the following business day). Please Note: the delivery timelines quoted herein and at checkout start once the order is shipped.

We offer flat-rate shipping to each of the aforementioned countries. The flat-rate for orders shipping to Canada is $15; for orders shipping to any of the other countries, the flat-rate cost is $40. RETURNS
We are pleased to offer an exchange or a return for Pyper Malone store credit on all US orders within 14 days of the item's delivery date. We do not offer refunds. The item to be returned must have the original tags attached and must be unworn, unaltered, and not damaged in any way. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for gift cards, branded items, or final sale items.
Please note that a restocking fee of $20 and a flat-rate return shipping fee of $7 applies to all return orders [this applies to items that are being returned for store credit; there is no restocking or return shipping fee for items being exchanged].
We will deduct these costs from the return, and will issue you a return shipping label.
Please email us at hello@pypermalone.com to initiate a return. Returns are eligible for store credit in the amount of the original purchase less a $7 return shipping fee and a $20 restocking fee. Hats that have been customized with branding are not eligible for return or exchange.

If you’d like to exchange a hat for another style or size, we are pleased to offer Prompt-Ship Exchanges wherein we send you your desired exchange item immediately (rather than waiting for the item that you are returning to arrive at our warehouse). To initiate a Prompt-Ship Exchange, we require a temporary hold in the amount of the exchanged item on your credit card. Once the returned item is received by us, we will promptly release the hold. PLEASE NOTE: once we process the Prompt-Ship Exchange, you will have 30 days to send us your return item. In the event that the return item is not received by us within this 30-day return window, we will finalize the charge for the temporary hold.
Yes, as long as the exchange/return is initiated within 14 days of the date your Pyper Malone order is delivered to you. We do not offer refunds. Please be advised that shipping charges are not refundable, and that you are responsible for any and all costs associated with the return shipping, absent a return or exchange being initiated because a hat arrived damaged (not due to error/omission on the part of the carrier).
